It is important that prior to the date of inspection, you confirm that the power is on at the property.
If the property is on community or public water, it is importation that prior to the date of inspection, you confirm that the water is on at the property.
Scheduling other inspections at the same time you have your septic inspection could create issues with your septic system inspection. If this cannot be avoided, we will do our best to accomodate.
Many agents and homeowners attempt to scheule all inspections for the same date. The home inspection process requires the home inspector to run the dishwasher, flush the toilets, run water in the bathtub and showers.
The septic inspector needs to try to determine if there are any leaks that could be causing excess liquids in the tank or drain field area. That is difficult to determine if someone has the water running at the property while doing a home inspection.
